Why V4 with V4 cabinets?

Tesla’s V4 Supercharger posts paired with the new V4 power electronics cabinets support
up to 500 kW per stall for passenger vehicles and up to 1.2 MW for Tesla Semi, with a 180- 1000 V DC output range and up to 615 A continuous current. This enables faster charging for high-voltage EVs like the Cybertruck and other 800-1000 V platforms, while remaining compatible with existing 400 V Teslas.

PacificSuperchargers sites are designed around V4 posts and V4 cabinets from day one, so drivers benefit from higher power, longer cables (~3 m) and better layouts for trailers and non-Tesla EVs.
